Mrs. Binu Biju is an experienced and compassionate student counselor, youth mentor, and family advisor with over two decades of dedicated service to the community. Holding a master’s degree in science and multiple certifications in counseling and theological studies, she brings a rich blend of academic knowledge and heartfelt wisdom to her work.
With a deep commitment to empowering young minds, Mrs. Binu has guided countless students in discovering their strengths, setting meaningful goals, and cultivating the confidence needed to pursue successful, fulfilling careers. Her holistic approach to counseling ensures that she not only addresses academic and career concerns but also nurtures the emotional and personal development of the students she mentors.
Her leadership journey spans a range of prominent roles in social and expatriate organizations in Bahrain, including presidential positions.

She began her career as a journalist, earning a reputation for her insightful reporting and compelling storytelling. She worked for several prominent international media outlets like Gulf Daily News, Daily Tribune, and Day Break publications, News of Bahrain where she covered a wide range of topics from current events to human interest stories. Her work not only informed the public but also often highlighted social issues and the need for community engagement.
Driven by a desire to make a more direct impact on the next generation, Begena transitioned into educational training, focusing on soft skill development for children. Her experience in journalism, where communication is key, provided her with a unique skill set that she now imparts to her students. Understanding the critical importance of skills like communication, empathy, teamwork, and problem-solving, Begena designs comprehensive training programs tailored to children’s developmental needs. She is frequently invited to speak at educational conferences and seminars, where she shares her insights and experiences.
